World Population Day

World Population Day as an event was established by the United Nations to emphasize population-related concerns. July 11, 2023 witnessed the celebration of World Population day in Aurobindo International School. This year's theme was – Unleashing the Power of gender equality: In simple words it means “uplifting the voices of women to unlock our world's infinite possibilities.The students of class IX performed a skit on the theme, while other students spoke about various issues related to population explosion and its many disadvantages. Speeches delivered by our students were duly supported with latest facts and statistics. The carefully collated content delivered by students, surely succeeded in raising our awareness about the increasing population vis-à-vis diminishing natural resources. The Principal thanked the students for their genuine efforts in highlighting the ills of a growing population and gender inequality
