Winter Carnival Celebration at Aurobindo International School!
On the delightful day of December 24, 2023, the grounds of Aurobindo International School came alive with vibrant colors, joyous laughter, and the rhythmic beats of music as the Winter Carnival unfolded. The FETE, a gala event, was inaugurated with much pomp and grandeur by the esteemed Lt. Col. Dibakar Chandra, accompanied by the Honourable Director, Dr. Bharat Prashar, Co-Director Ms. Shalni Prashar, and the Principal Ms. Karuna Nagpal, Head Boy Ayush Sharan, Head Girl Harshita Kanwar, Jr. Head Boy Shourya Sharma, Jr. Head Girl Navya Khedar.
The entire playground was transformed into a spectacle of diversity, with 17 stalls representing cultures from Kashmir to Kanyakumari. The umbrella-shaped tops in various colors added a picturesque touch to the scene, enhancing the lush green beauty of the surroundings.
As the dignitaries toured the stalls, they were met with warm smiles and engaged in conversations that added to the festive spirit.
The programme kicked off with a soulful Ganesh Vandana, followed by mesmerising performances such as Rajasthani folk dances, Bollywood mash-ups, and singing performances by both teachers and students. The air was filled with excitement as children enjoyed thrilling swings and indulged in the delectable offerings at food stalls.
A special highlight was the presentation of Chandrayaan-3, meticulously crafted by the Stem Lab, captivating the attention of all attendees.
The climax of the carnival was marked by the announcement of the lucky draw winners by Principal Ms. Karuna Nagpal. The fortunate winners walked away with fabulous prizes, including a refrigerator, a bicycle, a washing machine, and more, adding an extra layer of joy to the festivities.
The successful execution of the Winter Carnival was made possible through the dedicated efforts and cooperation of the staff, guided by the leadership of Principal Ms. Karuna Nagpal. In her closing remarks, she expressed gratitude to all staff members for their hard work, making the event a memorable success.
