Mother's Day

“A mother is a person who can take the place of all others but no one else can take her place” The day that recognizes the essence of a mother was celebrated in high spirits and merriment. This being one of those occasions that none of us can afford to miss, was zealously enjoyed by one and all. The children irrespective of nationalities, castes, cultures and genders have emotions binding them to their mothers. Keeping this bonding and emotion in mind, the Aurobindo International School, Sirsi Road Jaipur had a special celebration on mother’s day. . The students put up a special assembly to honor all the mothers Performers made an earnest effort to instill the importance of mother in a child’s life through effective thematic presentations, moral stories, and dramatization and dance performances. A special event was organized for teacher mothers and their wards. The happy and excited mothers took part in the various games & competitions in which the little ones had to identify their mothers in blindfold game and quiz on choices of their mothers. All events were team events comprising of the mother and child. Mothers were very happy to see the enthusiasm of kids participating in the competitions. Mother’s Day Celebration reminded our little ones that we have been neglecting our duties as sons and daughters. The students had something more special and unique to bring a smile on their beloved mother’s face. They passionately got involved in making beautiful greeting cards for their mothers. The tiny tots came up with new and innovative ideas for their cards. They intensely and devotedly spoke about their mothers. It was a pleasure watching the dynamic and energetic children preparing something unique, something special. The outcome of their efforts was marvelous. Each card was special and different in its own way. The bulletin boards were decorated with these beautiful cards and conveyed an important message of being humble, respectful and obedient to the parents. Principal Ms. Karuna Nagpal inspired the children by sharing a short story of Albert Einstein’s childhood and his bond with his mother to inculcate virtuous deeds and resort to ethical ways. Mr. Bharat Parashar Director of school explained the ability of super moms to handle a variety of demands being thrown at them in quick succession. He extended his greetings to all mothers and educators. All in all it was an enjoyable and memorable day for each and every child which left an indubitable mark on the innocent hearts.
