Lohri Celebration Illuminates AIS
In a dazzling display of cultural fervour, Aurobindo International School (AIS) hosted a vibrant Lohri celebration on January 13, 2024. The school premises were adorned with the spirit of festivity as students, teachers, and staff came together to mark this auspicious occasion.
The highlight of the event was the presence of the esteemed School Principal, Ms. Karuna Nagpal, and the Honourable Director, Dr. Bharat Prashar, who added grandeur to the festivities. Both dignitaries delivered eloquent speeches during the conclusion, emphasising the cultural significance of Lohri and underscoring the values of unity and diversity.
The celebration featured a traditional bonfire, symbolising the essence of Lohri, and was accompanied by lively music that echoed through the school grounds. The students' enthusiasm and active participation showcased the school's commitment to preserving and celebrating cultural traditions of India.
