KRISHAN JANMASHTAMI

In a vibrant display of cultural unity and devotion, Aurobindo International School, celebrated Janmashtami with great fervor and enthusiasm. Students, teachers, and parents came together to commemorate the birth of Lord Krishna, marking one of the most significant festivals in Hinduism.
The celebrations began with a beautifully decorated shrine dedicated to Lord Krishna, adorned with flowers and traditional decorations. Students, dressed in colorful attire resembling Lord Krishna and Radha, added to the festive atmosphere.
One of the highlights of the event was the "Dahi Handi" competition, where young Krishna enthusiasts formed human pyramids to reach and break a clay pot filled with flowers and toffees. The school also organized cultural performances, including traditional dances, songs and speeches that depicted the life and teachings of Lord Krishna.
Parents and teachers actively participated in the celebrations, helping to create a sense of community and togetherness.
Chief Guest Dr. Parmeshwari Misra, Honorable Director Mrs. Shalini Prashar and Respected Principal Ms. Karuna Nagpal expressed their joy at the successful celebration, emphasizing the importance of instilling cultural values in the younger generation.
