Triumphant Celebration of Independence Day at Aurobindo International School

The spirit of patriotism soared to new heights as Aurobindo International School celebrated Independence Day with unparalleled zeal and fervor. The campus bloomed with vibrant decorations, adorned with fluttering flags and colorful balloons, to honor this historic occasion. The resplendent event witnessed the entire school community, both students and teachers, convening in unity at the early hour of the day.
Under the radiant morning sun, amidst a jubilant assembly, the National Flag gracefully ascended the pole, guided by the hands of esteemed dignitaries. The event was graced by the presence of revered personalities who added an air of dignity to the ceremony. The atmosphere became charged with respect and admiration as a solemn speech resonated with the audience, delivered by the School's Co-Director Shalini Ma’am. This was followed by heartfelt words from Principal Ms. Karuna Nagpal, who paid a solemn tribute to the valiant martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the nation's freedom.
The celebration then seamlessly transitioned into an array of captivating cultural performances. The students, representing various grades, displayed their talents through enthralling dances and melodious renditions of patriotic songs. The stage reverberated with the echoes of unity and devotion towards the motherland.
Recognizing excellence and dedication, prizes were bestowed upon the victors of the diverse competitions that had taken place within the school. The triumphs of the Interschool Qawalli competition and the Basketball tournament were met with exuberant applause. Director Ma’am and Principal Ma’am had the honour of presenting these well-deserved awards and certificates to the accomplished winners.
Principal Ms. Karuna Nagpal extended a heartfelt vote of thanks, acknowledging the collective effort that made this momentous event a reality. The celebration reached its pinnacle as the students were greeted with sweets, a sweet gesture to sweeten the memories of this remarkable day.
