Cooking “Fireless” Competition

Few activities have enticed the school children so much as did Cooking “Fireless” competition held in Aurobindo International School, Sirsi Road, Jaipur on Monday, July 24th 2023.
This competition was rolled out to students in Grades I to IX and XI. However, mothers of participating students from Grades III to V were invited and given a unique format inasmuch that both mother & child were to cook their dish together.
Students came in well prepared for the dish they would cook and to fight it out for the winning spot. The air was one of excitement and no sooner than the contest began, the enthusiasm of the students was mind-boggling and a sight to be seen. Many young hands were chipping away so professionally with their ingredients that would make a master chef proud. The students waited very eagerly for the Principal to come and taste their dishes and she personally went around each class to personally encourage the students.
The grand attraction of today’s event was most certainly a number of interesting games and other activities the parents (mainly, mothers) were invited to play and enjoy. Eventually the judges had gone around and selected the winners. The results were finally announced and three grand prizes were given out to the winners by the Principal Ms. Karuna Nagpal. The parents showed much interest in the contest and stated their desire to have more such activities in the school. They also thanked the Principal for organizing so many extra-curricular and fun-filled activities brilliantly.
