BasantPanchami Celebration at Aurobindo International School

On 14th February 2024, Aurobindo International SchoolcelebratedBasantPanchami, the festival dedicated to the worship of Goddess Saraswati with great fervour and enthusiasm. The school ground wasdecked- out with vibrant colours as students, teachers, and staff came together to pay homage to the goddess of knowledge, music, arts, and wisdom.
The event commenced with prayers and offerings to Goddess Saraswati, symbolising the onset of spring and the beginning of the auspicious occasion. The ceremonial lighting of the lamp was performed by the esteemed school Principal, Ms. KarunaNagpal, marking the commencement of the festivities.
Students displayed their devotion through melodious renditions of devotional songs. Theperformances by the primary and pre-primary students were particularly captivating, reflecting their dedication and hard work in preparing for the event.
The highlight of the celebration was the enlightening speeches delivered by the honourable director of Maharishi Arvind Group, Dr. Bharat Prashar, and the school Principal, Ms. KarunaNagpal. Dr. Prashar emphasised the significance of BasantPanchami as a harbinger of new beginnings and the importance of education in shaping young minds. Ms. Nagpal reiterated the school's commitment to nurturing holistic development and fostering a love for learning among the students.
Speaking after the event, Ms. KarunaNagpal expressed her delight at the successful celebration of BasantPanchami, praising the students for their outstanding performances and thanking the staff for their hard work in organising the event.
